Arrival for your Massage

First-time appointments: Please arrive 10 minutes before your massage to allow time to complete intake forms and prepare for your massage. If you are unable to arrive early, your massage may be reduced to the remaining time allotted. Full payment is still expected for a shorter massage time.

Existing clientele: Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you are unable to arrive on time, your massage may be reduced to the remaining time allotted. Full payment is still expected for a shorter massage time.

Cancellation Policy

We respect your time and understand emergencies unexpectedly occur. In an effort to foster a mutual commitment to the health and wellness of all our clientele, our cancellation policy is as follows:

We kindly request that any cancellations or rescheduling be made with a minimum 24 of hours notice, as this allows us to accommodate other clients in need of our services. In the event that such notice is not provided, we may need to charge the full session fee. Additionally, we ask that our clients strive to arrive on time, as any delays may impact the rest of the scheduled time.

  • If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you can rebook it for free one time if you let us know.
  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice the 2nd time, you will be charged 50% of the service(s) when rebooking.
  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice the 3rd time, you will be charged the full price of the service(s) when rebooking.

No Show Policy

Clients who fail to show for an appointment will be charged the full posted rate and may be required to pre-pay for their future sessions. Clients with a Gift Certificate will forfeit the use of these documents in the future.

Informed Consent

New clients must fill out an intake and consent form prior to their massage. A treatment plan will be discussed before the massage. Clients who have not been seen in over a year will need to update their forms.

Boundaries

The client will always be draped and only areas being worked on are exposed. Please inform the therapist if there are any areas you do not want massaged. Requests for “no draping”, or other inappropriate sexual requests will not be tolerated. The session will end immediately, the client will be required to pay for the session and will be discharged immediately from booking again.

Minors: Clients Under 18

Under Pennsylvania Law: Clients under the age of 18 require a legal guardian present.

A signed permission slip does not circumvent the law. Currently, there is no waiver that will allow a minor to be treated without parental supervision.

Current Medical Conditions

It is the client’s responsibility to complete the intake form with truthful information and to continue to update the therapist with any new medical conditions. If needed, written permission from the physician, chiropractor or physical therapist may be required.

Please do not get a massage if you have any of the following conditions:

  • Fever
  • Infectious Disease
  • Systemic Infection
  • Blood Clot (without Doctor’s permission)
  • Fracture, bleeding, burns or other injury (not yet treated)
